Vietnam Airlines,Cebu Pacific,Singapore's new unnamed LCC carrier,United,Hawaiian,Air Canada,JAL,Skywest,Network,Air Asia X,Air China,Garuda or Batavia.
I believe over the next 2-3 years some of these carriers will be offering BNE flights.
The 2 domestic carriers Network and Skywest will operate Mining charters out of BNE,I am extremely certain of this aspect once they get more aircraft.Network have 10 F100's on order and Skywest more A320'S.
Of course Strategic will rebrand as Air Australia and become a low cost carrier which may lead to Garuda resuming flights as a full cost carrier ?
I will look into this topic more during the year.
We wish Tiger all the best and hope that all their safety issues are long behind them.
This figure will end up being around 17,150 once a update is done in 3-4 months time when circuit traffic is added.
BNE will go very close to 200,000 movements this year.
This is the first of 18 aircraft on order and the first 4 will be 500 series models and will be replaced by a 600 series mid 2012.
The new ATR will be deployed on BNE-GLT,BNE-PQQ,SYD-PQQ and SYD-CBR for the first 3 aircraft.Aircraft 4 due soon has no route utilization plans advised at this stage.
Today FVH departed BNE for the Bundaberg airshow to be on static display.
This aircraft will change Australian Aviation as there will be now competition in regional markets.
Well done Virgin and thank you for selecting BNE as your first hub port for this beautiful airliner.
